Nowadays, many research works are being conducted throughout the world to develop cementitious materials that can replace cement. This Paper Presents the Compressive strength of high Performance concrete with the replacement of cement with Alccofine and Fly ash, and also with natural sand to manufactured sand. The necessary of high Performance concrete is increasing because of demands in the construction site. The main aim of this study is to evaluate the strength or we can say high performance of concrete containing supplementary cementitious materials (SCM) such as Alccofine. We Efforts for improving the performance of concrete over the past few years suggest that cement replacement materials along with Mineral & chemical admixtures can improve the strength and durability characteristics of concrete. Alccofine (GGBS) and cement are pozzolanic materials that can be utilized to produce highly durable concrete composites. In this experiment tries out a new ultrafine material called Alccofine for a partial replacement. This concrete grade, M35 was developed for testing the cementing efficiency of Alccofine with a variety of percentages of replacement of cement with Alccofine, such as 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20%.
A design mix has been developed for M35 grade and cubes have been cast with varying percentages of alccofine, as described below.
