Application of Series FACTS Controller for Improvement of Transient Stability of a Series Compensated Transmission Line on IEEE 9 Bus System

Abstract

The advent of the 21st Century Flexible AC Transmission System brought. It uses power electronic based and after static Controller to enhance controllability and increase power transfer capability. We need to implement a variable capacitor where we combine power electronics to power system and we made use of the power electronic device to construct the FACTS device. It uses power electronics based and other static controller to enhance controllability and increase power transfer Capability.
